Combat
Caravan Online has no classes. The weapon in your hand and the gear you wear decide your skills.
Controls
- Click the ground to walk there along a path. Click an enemy to move into range and keep using the basic attack.
- A right click only moves: it never attacks, even on an enemy, so it gets you out of a fight.
- You run by default and walk while holding Shift.

Every weapon has a basic attack and four skills. Skills cost energy and have cooldowns; energy refills slowly even in combat. Each weapon's skills are listed under Skills.
Monsters
- Bears attack when you come close. Wolves and boars attack only when hit.
- A boar's charge and a bear's maul are marked on the ground first. Step outside the mark and it misses.
- Monsters may have a tier (T1 to T4) and a prefix; each zone has its own tier chances. See Tiers and prefixes for the odds.
- The field boss is meant for several players together.
Player against player
The rules depend on the zone. The zone sign on screen shows the rules where you stand.
| Zone | Rules |
|---|---|
| Safe | Nobody can attack. |
| Guarded | Only players who both allow PK fight. |
| Open | Anyone may attack anyone. Attacking someone who has not allowed PK makes you an outlaw. |
| Lawless | Anyone may attack anyone, with no outlaw mark. |
- Town squares and road shelters are safe in every zone.
- Allowing PK takes effect at once.
- Turning it off takes 5 minutes, and you can still be attacked meanwhile. Hitting or being hit by another player in that time starts the 5 minutes again. Entering a safe place turns it off at once, and moving to another zone keeps the time left.
- While PK is allowed outside safe places, gathering yields and combat fame from hunting are 10% higher. Experience and money are not.
- While you carry a consignment marked "Carrier must have PK on", you cannot turn PK off.
- The winner takes none of the loser's things. Falling in an open or lawless zone drops them on the spot, and only the owner and the party members, guild members or courier the owner allows can pick them up (Economy · Death).
